Day Three - A Day Off (mostly)
April 17th, 2008 | by Sean |Today was mostly a day off. We dropped Sylvia at the Premium Outlet Center, so that she could shop for a couple hours, and then stopped at Walmart to pick up “Ben 10 - Alien Force”, which the kids have been begging to see. Some time in the pool, a bit of TV, and I happily read my geek book. Most women would probably have laughed at the pathetically small bag of acquired goods that Sylvia returned with after 3 hours of shopping, but I just wanted to hug her.
For dinner, we did Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, kind of a Medieval Times sort of thing. It was a bit of a money grab, in that they get you there early to buy drinks and cheap dollar store pirate merchandise, but the show wasn’t too bad and the kids liked it. Alex got selected to go up on stage and be part of the show, and as usual it was hard for him to understand that he wasn’t the actual star. Tomorrow is sounding like the water park, but I haven’t received my orders yet.
